Tiny blossoms surround a radiant sunflower as they flourish in a magic garden; it is framed by verdant leaves on curling vines. Tay Nontawat designs this extraordinary panel, which he carves from four different pieces of teak wood. He works with a fine chisel and knife to achieve a finely detailed work. Nontawat then joins the two parts together and allows them to dry in the sun; he then embellishes the relief panel with lacquer paints.

Due to the handcrafted nature of this product, there could be slight difference in color. It could also present a rough finished, which is Nontawat's intention as it serves to emphasize the original appeal of this piece.

Djembe drums originally come from West Africa and are skin-covered instruments with ropes that are used for different ceremonies. Ghanaian artisan Robert K. Ghartey designs this djembe drum crafted from tweneboa wood, goatskin, iron rings and woven cotton cords whose lower section features beautiful giraffe motifs carved by hand.

Thailand’s Rujan Baidya presents this walnut wood mallet designed for meditation practices with singing bowls, traditional of Tibetan Buddhist culture. One end is made of bare wood while the other is covered with black faux leather. The mallet creates different tones from a singing bowl by either striking or rubbing it along the rim, and can be used on both ends. When struck with the black faux leather end, the bowl rings with a fundamental, deep sound, while the wooden side produces a clear, resonant and louder sound.
