Bali’s Zayd Makarim transforms sterling silverhalf-hoops into something truly special by addinga three-carat, faceted amethyst to each. The oxidized sterling silver pattern, known as "Buddha’s curls", is inspired by hundreds of Buddha statues at Borobudur temple in central Java.

Elaborate floral patterns enliven a pair of crescent-shaped earrings, handcrafted in the Balinese workshop of Nyoman Rena. Stylized vines and leaves are rendered in sterling silver with an oxidized finish.
