Costa Rican artisan Soledad Borel draws inspiration for her designs from an intricate study of Central American flora. The artisan handcrafts these sterling silver drop earrings with textured details in the shape of seed pods of the whistle tree or piccolo tree, common to the dry forests and whose seeds and flowers served multiple traditional uses such as jewelry, medicine, and sustenance.
