This small table runner is the creation of Mario Chavez, who works to preserve the textile traditions of his native Oaxaca. The runner is woven by hand from pure wool in ecru, with a tree of life motif accented by colorful birds on each branch. Fringe accents each corner.

Exactly what I was looking for...a bright cheery rug to use beneath the barstools at my new kitchen island. The colors are perfect, exactly as pictured, and the craftsmanship is very nice. The wool is thick so I expect this rug will wear well. Couldnt be happier!
