About Me
I used to have a beautiful selection of sterling silver earrings and bracelets and a necklace or two from the Indonesian region. However, circumstances led me to lose it, and I had been collecting for 10 years. I was thrilled to see that a pair that I sold was once again available!
Basically, I just love exotic, handmade jewelry in sterling silver. I also collect books, both electronic and in print. I enjoy cooking different cuisines, and reading cookbooks and bookmarking the ones I want to try. I also enjoy computers and fractal math (which I am trying to teach to myself; I have had some interesting results).i really prefer Linux as an operating system but I had to get an iPhone, so back to Windows I went. Begrudgingly.
I also enjoy walking and cycling when the mood feels right. I enjoy practicing Nichiren Buddhism and have for about 5.5 years. I am definitely a youngster in that regard. Some people I know have been practicing nearly 60 years.
I would love the chance to visit Thailand and Bali and Java, but that is not in the cards right now. Someday. I inherited my father's wanderlust. I actually want to see the whole world, but everyone is at war so I'll have to wait it out., and satisfy myself with the occasional purchase from Novica. They have the best sterling silver pieces! From everywhere in the world, even better!!

I saw the earrings named Spring Blossoms, and I liked them a great deal, but I wanted to see what else was out there. (Novica is a bad website for me to be on), so I looked around, and found three pairs of earrings that I liked just as well if not more. However, this past paycheck, I returned for the "Spring Blossoms." They had gotten stuck, if you will, in my brain as a pair of earrings I would enjoy having. They are dainty and feminine, but with some substance, just like the women who wear them.

I have to give many thanks to this artist. There was a pair of earrings that I had to buy, and they were my favorites. I thought I would never find anything even remotely similar. Much to my surprise, though, one night I was "window shopping" on Novica, and there they were. They aren't as long, don't weigh as much, but the design is identical!! Needless to say, I ordered them right away. I can't be happier. They are called "Siamese Beauty," and I honestly believed I would never see them again.

I cannot even describe in words how beautiful the moonstone, dangle earrings that I ordered from this artist are. They were the last in the shipment to arrive, and when I opened the package, I think I may have gasped. I cannot over emphasize how beautiful these are. She is a highly skilled silversmith. If you want to take a look at them, they are named "Pendulum" from the Bali/Java region.
