Blue, red and yellow weave intricate patterns that honor the kente cloth tradition. Accordingly, blue symbolizes spiritual sanctity and peacefulness; yellow stands for wealth, preciousness, vitality and fertility; and red symbolizes heightened spiritual and political mood, sacrifice, and struggle. From Deborah Osei Boakye, this kente cloth is woven on a handcrafted loom and receives the name Edwenasa, meaning "ultimate" in Akan language.
