Wearing frangipanis on their heads as symbol of loyalty, a bride and groom wed in the tradition of Bali. Suparta carves each sculpture from albesia wood, and masterfully details their traditional attires with exquisite hand-painted details. The handsome groom is wearing a udeng on his head, a golden top and a dark green sarong detailed with flowers. The beautiful bride wears a florid gray sarong and an ornate crown. Suparta details each sculpture with gilt to enhance their antiqued finish.
