Hindu Expressionist Painting, "Blessed Ganesha I"

Sitting regally on a lotus throne, Ganesha dispenses his blessings as he holds his mystical weapons and his favorite dessert. He raises his fourth hand in peaceful mudra. Painting with acrylics and using gold foil accents, Chayanon creates the illusion of a stone-carved image of this legendary depiction of Ganesha. According to the Hindu pantheon, Ganesha is the Lord of Knowledge and the Remover of Obstacles. He has the head of an elephant and the body of a human, and his one of the most beloved deities.
