Cotton Tote Handbag from Central America, "Cotzal Colors"

Handloomed cotton in cheerful colors combines in a roomy handbag. Along the bottom, a band of cloth depicts geometric figures and whimsical birds, typical of the region of Cotzal. The images are created on a traditional backstrap loom. Women Artisans from the Ixil Region showcase their weaving skills with the charming purse. It features a light blue lining with an inner pocket that zips closed, and the bag closes with straps on each side that can be tied.
