Turning away from the viewer, a young woman is silhouetted in sunlight. She wears her hair in tiny braids, plaited with unseen colorful threads. "This is a traditional hairstyle," Ghanaian artist Nii Ablorh Sowah says. "I would be happy if everyone could wear it to promote our African values and beauty."
