Three women move together in the Kpalogo, a popular dance among Ghana's Ga and Ewe people. Joseph Kwaw Besoabewie depicts a scene from the Ghanaian homowo festival. The name is Ga in origin and means "hooting at hunger." Held each year in August, it celebrates the corn harvest.
