I’m the woman of the house, which means that I make most of the decisions at home. I’m the one who takes care of the finances, does the cooking and cleaning, does most of the shopping, whether it be groceries, clothing, or anything baby related. That also includes all the shopping for birthdays, dinner parties, and Christmas presents. Yes, I have most of my holiday shopping completed, though waiting on a few online deliveries. Just because I’m organized doesn’t mean that my hubby is also. Like most men, he’s famous for waiting until the last minute when it comes to buying a gift. I’ve decided to come up with a list of jewelry gift items from NOVICA, as a gift guide for husbands and boyfriends alike.

My favorite color is blue, so when I came across the sterling silver bracelet in the picture below, I had to post it here, and add it to my wishlist. The stone is Chrysocolla, which kind of reminds me of turquoise. For those of you who are spiritual and wear stones for that purpose, Chrysocolla is the stone for Communication. The turquoise-blue color discharges negative energy, is calming, and brings truth and inner wisdom to surface and be heard.
I love sterling silver jewelry, especially a nice chunky pendant. When I came across the Blue Topaz pendant below, I had to share it and add it to my wishlist. The color is so pretty, and would be the perfect addition to any woman’s jewelry collection. If I owned this, it would be one of my favorite pieces… hinting again to my hubby!

Even though I refer to my partner as my “hubby”, we’re technically common-law. We have a daughter together, and someday when and if it feels right, we might tie the knot. We’ve been together for quite a number of years now, and I would LOVE if he surprised me with a “promise ring”. With having a toddler at home and just moving to a brand new condo, I can’t see spending much money on a diamond. I would be equally happy with the ring below, which is the Artisan Crafted White and London Blue Topaz Cocktail Ring, ‘Jaipur Lady’. This would make for a gorgeous gift, not just as a “promise ring”, but as a traditional cocktail ring.
