Beautiful & Unique Hand Blown Glass Pitcher

I was at my mom’s house the other day and I know she just loves when I tell her what she needs. I’m being sarcastic here, but she really did need a couple more items in her kitchen to make life easy. First she needs a water filter and I am planning on giving her one that attaches to the sink. Our city water does taste pretty good, but I am picky about what is IN my water and I like to know it is filtered. Second, she needs better ice cubes. She has the plastic trays which is fine, but hers are for super small cubes. What is the point of that? Lastly, she needed a water pitcher where she could store her filtered water from the sink, to keep in the fridge, so cold water was always readily available.

‘I know Courtney!’ was her response. I was just trying to help. 🙂

A few days later I’m browsing Novica’s site and what catches my eye? The title Fresh Caribbean. Now I’m a beachy girl and anything that is semi-related fits right in. Same with my mom. Then I noticed it was a Glass Water Pitcher in a beautiful ocean blue. I needed it! No my mom did! When I clicked in for a closer look I thought it was so equisite and unique. I’ve never seen anything like it before – a chamber for ice to keep the drinks cold without watering it down.

My mom has a lot of beachy accents for her home decor so this new addition fit right in. I bought it for her to keep water in it for the fridge, but it is almost to lovely not to always have on display. It will a great jug for a party too don’t you think? I can imagine summer lemonades, flavored fruit waters, and cold margaritas all ready to go for the guests.

Our new hand blown glass pitcher will receive much love on a daily basis. Glass makes everything taste better too. No plastic or metal flavor in there. My mom is all set now. Now I just need to find some drinking glasses to go with it.

The pitcher was designed and handcrafted by Javier and Efrén in Mexico for Novica. They are experts in the tradition of handblown glass and creating beautiful treasures for your home or to give as fabulous gifts. I can’t wait to see if they make glasses too!
