Three’s a Charm in San Diego

NOVICA co-founder and spokesperson, Mina Olivera is interviewed on Fox!

This August, we had not one or two TV segments in San Diego, but three! Fox5 invited us to decorate three whole rooms with NOVICA’s handmade products. Challenge accepted!

The first segment showed off our take on an “eclectic living room”… the living room designed for the general travel enthusiast. A mask from Ghana next to a pillowcase from Peru, near vases from Brazil? No problem!

The second segment, an hour later, was all about the food! Our co-founder, Mina, enjoys having friends over for dinner parties, and loves adding her Latina flare to just about everything she can.

For our grand finale in San Diego, we brought in Thai dancers! Every backyard celebration should include dancing, right? These Thai dancers are from the Buddhist temple in Escondido and if you find yourself in the area, go visit them on Sundays. Check our their Facebook page for more info.

We want to thank Joy at the wonderful home staging company, Everything Creative Designs, for allowing us to use their furniture and for their huge help during the segments. Thank you!!
