One of the highlights of the Balinese Nyepi festival is the Ngrupuk parade, where the Ogoh-ogoh are carried through every street in every town. Ogoh-ogoh are statues made by each neighborhood to ward off evil demons and ‘cleanse’ the island of Bali at the end of each calendar year.
