As soon as I saw this beautiful Agate and Cedar Jewelry Box, I knew that it would look great on the top of the dresser in my bedroom. I love the natural materials and the styling. This jewelry box is the work of Guena who is from Brazil. He is a former accountant who now enjoys a more creative type of work as an artist and craftsman. He travels throughout Brazil to search for gemstones, crystals and other natural materials which he then crafts into beautiful works of art.
I’ve never traveled to Brazil, but it is great to be able to be able to have something that reflects the beauty of this country. Perhaps someday, I will take a trip to visit South America. For now, I can enjoy the work of this talented NOVICA artist.
The box is 4.5″ wide by 1.8″ tall. It is lined on the inside to keep your jewelry from getting scratched. The same material is also on the bottom, so you don’t need to worry about it sliding or damaging whatever it is you are setting it on.
