Carved with sublime detail, this sculpture by the family of the late Indonesian artisan Putra Suteja will never cease telling the stories of Hindu mythology. An Anantaboga dragon circles this coconut sculpture, while Ganesha presides at the top centre. Ganesha is one of the most popular deities in the Hindu pantheon. With the four arms he holds his own broken tusk in his lower-right hand and holds a delicacy, which he samples with his trunk, in his lower-left hand. His upper left hand holds an axe and his upper right arm holds a noose. The word Anantaboga is derived from the Sanskrit term ananta (endless) and boga (food, possession or wealth). As a result, Antaboga could be translated as "endless food" or "endless wealth". This sculpture comes with a detachable albesia wood base.

This beautiful creation will delight my twenty-year-old grandson when he opens it Christmas morning. I put a small tea light inside that highlights the intricate carving in this treasure. My grandson appreciates beautiful, creative artwork, and will delight in this addition to his growing collection. I cant thank you enough, dear Putra. Thank you.

Im one of those people who takes special pride in the ability to find The Perfect Gift, and this is one of them -- in this case for my brother, whose taste is very particular and unlike my own. I wasnt sure but I took a chance and Bingo -- this totally hit the very narrow intersection of his taste and mine! He called me from Spain, raving about it, the design, the workmanship, the beauty of it -- thank you for helping me wish my beloved brother a happy birthday!

I had ordered this as a gift for my mother to add to her collection, and it would be a unique piece . I liked the photos online and was certain she would enjoy it when it arrived. WOW! It looked even better in person. The details were amazing! It is now the center of her collection. Absolutely beautiful. To the maker of this piece: Thank you for doing such great work and pride in your work Absolutely is reflected in this!
