Guatemala's Jimenez Family crafts these stunning hoop earrings using jade obtained from the foothills of the Sierra de las Minas in Zacapa. Jade has long been associated with the concept of immortality, as its hardness is close to that of a diamond. Here, polished cylinders of dark green jade form smooth hoops and are finished with sterling silver accents and saddleback catches.

“Beautiful stone”

It looks just like the picture. I found it a bit on the small side so I wish I would have ordered up. The stone is exactly as pictured in the description and the silverwork is flawless. It didnt come with the little card that usually comes with orders but other than that, I am very happy with my first purchase from this family.
