Graceful and feminine, this blouse is designed by Isha Jain. She selects handloomed cotton in warm ginger for the scoop-neck tunic. Kantha, or running stitch embroidery adorns the sleeves, neckline and placket. The top slips over the head.
As is typical of genuine handloomed fabric, there are tiny slubs throughout. This occurs when a thread runs out, and the weaver extends it by twisting a new thread together with the old.

Item is very well made, though the size runs a bit small. Item arrived on time and well packaged.

I love the cut and pattern of this dress. The pleats make it easy to move around in, and the length is perfect. The only thing I miss are side seam pockets (for keys, hankies, notes, maybe cell phone, some cash, etc.).

Delicate contrast stitching, nice buttons. Dress up or down. Its a little thinner than I thought - might need camisole underneath.
