Its crest at the back of the head distinguishes the aquatic bird; this can be expanded or contracted. Nengah Sudarsana carves a realistic portrait of the bird. He carefully details the soft feathers and bright, canny eyes.

"A beautiful bird"
I love the details and character the artist put into his work. I have other bird sculptures from US artisans but this one is my first international piece and a favorite. Many compliments from friends and relatives about the realistic portrayal. Thank you to the artist for blessing my home!

"Beautiful"
I ordered 4 ducks, all from Nengah Sudarsana. I was skeptical because none of the ducks I ordered are native to Indonesia. They are spot-on. The artist must have really studied the birds. I was so impressed, I ordered four more. They will be used at our fund-raiser in February.

"It reminds me of a cat I had."
It is perfect in every way. Just like this cat I had. I loved that cat. Her name was Mrs. Baby. This statue is now the centerpiece to a shrine I have built for her, since her disappearance.
