Twinkling stars illuminate cattle that graze by moonlight in the night. Sajad creates dazzling images on an exquisite rug. Burgundy, blue and green, the intricate patterns are drawn on a cotton backing, and embroidered by hand with soft woolen floss. The technique of chain-stitched rug crafting was introduced to India by Persia in 1460.
