In Guatemala, tiny dolls called quitapenas are given to children who are nervous or on edge, with the idea to have someone to tell their troubles to. This charming mobile includes a series of these small dolls in handwoven textiles, which also covers the rhomboid that the suspends the dolls and wood beads. The mobile itself is made by Elias Garcia, but it is his sister's family that makes the dolls.

I have a Guardian Angel friend who is always there for me, for her husband, her family, her church .... She is pure goodness and is unstoppable. This was perfect to give her. I would keep these in stock ... and do keep a couple on hand, because of the cultural value that sets it aside from average gifts, the beauty and sweetness of the wreath, and the quality. I love it, and I love NOVICA and all Elias does. Even through rough times of my own, these bring joy. Thank you for never disappointing!

This heart wreath was given to my husband when work challenges were especially difficult. The darling worry dolls were given their job as my husband smiled and recognized his fretting. The wreath is beautifully detailed, a sweet reminder to breathe deeply and enjoy the ride.
