Guatemalan Still Life Painting of Flowers in a Blue Vase, "Garden Flowers"

"I found my inspiration for this painting in the joy that comes with having flowers at home. I remember these chinitas blossoming in my parents' garden when I was a child, as well as that of my friends. These flowers left a mark in our childhood," says Juan Henry Mendez fondly. He paints this still life with oils and acrylics in a vivid and intense palette of colors.
