Beautifully depicted in gleaming repoussé, floral lace covers an opulent jewelry box. Khalid Ali crafts the box of mango wood, covered in brass repoussé bathed in nickel. He lines the box with velvet and adds a lift out tray. The piece features ornate handles, a mirror inside the lid, and a latch that can be locked. Brightly colored stones complete the design with sunny elegance.

“Quality declined, but still beautiful”

Some years ago I bought a similar box to store my fathers memorabilia after he died. I decided to purchase another from the same artist for my mother. Unfortunately, the quality of the workmanship has declined. One of the hinges is separating after opening only a few times. The side handles are painted black (instead of matching silver) and are attached crookedly. The velvet linings is detaching in places, which I can fix. Overall Im disappointed, partly because Im comparing it to the one I already had. I do love the floral design and its still a beautiful place to store memories of my mother.

“Beautifully crafted jewelry box”

This exquisite piece is sturdy and well-made, so beautiful, and roomy enough for a lot of jewelry. Flawless in its artistry. The package arrived in less than 3 weeks from India to Canada, very well-packaged and safe from shipping harm. Very satisfied.
