Javanese artisan Omi Setiawan crafts this mask from albesia wood, featuring a bird that is hand-carved at the forehead. This mask is decorated using the batik method, where the wood is painted by hand with a wax resist before colorful dyes are applied. Traditional kawung motifs are visible on the mask's forehead, nose, and cheeks.
