The first time I ordered this, it was for myself. I returned it because, although I am a cat lover, I rarely ever drink wine. But I soon regretted sending it back, for I thought of someone I could give it to for Christmas. So now I have it again, and am happy. It really is cute....and practical too!

I collect journals, especially unique ones, and I also collect bird figurines in pottery, ceramic and glass and bird paintings. The kingfisher is one of my favorites because it is so colorful. Artisan Asha Prabha has done a masterful job with this handmade paper journal. The back cover reproduces an antique postcard.
