The piece is beautifully crafted. A one of a kind treasure. The wood grain seems the same but the color is completely different, much, much lighter than any area of the one photographed. Its also uniform in color. I wouldve preferred it to be more like the photos as its being hung on a light colored wall. As I said though its a one of a kind treasure. I was mesmerized the moment I laid eyes on it so will live with the color:)

I love this art piece, and it is a great addition to my small collection. The wood is beautiful and blends well with my wooden trunk where I have it displayed. I have limited space, so the Buddhas mid size is perfect. I have one other piece by this artist, and the attention to detail is exquisite. I will treasure both for many years! It also was very carefully packed in many layers of paper to protect it during shipping.
