I hummed and hawed about buying this but am so glad I did. My dangly earrings and chunky bracelets are beautifully organised on this well-designed piece. In times where so many things are made cheaply, I deeply appreciate the quality to the work. I tucked it in a shelf in my closet without clearance for the necklace arms. While I miss these arms (theyre amazing) its worth noting for those who may be concerned about the extra width. Also, these arms can be used as little pegs when mounted (like Im experimenting in my closet) on a flat surface.

I bought this jewelry box as a gift for my daughter-in-law and she loved it, especially the nice detail work on the box. Can never go wrong with work done by Julio.

The pictures of this item make it look like a color intermediate between purple and pink, however in person, under natural light, I would describe it as being redder/pinker and I would probably describe the color scheme as just pink, maybe with hints of purple. The top panel also looks white in natural light. As purple is my favorite color Im a little bit disappointed in that, and yet despite that, it is really amazing work. Had I known what it would look like in natural light, its possible that Id have gone for Cajamarca Splendor by the same artists, which is a bold combination of secondary colors including purple. However, regardless, I am very happy that I have one of these cabinets, and this color scheme would have been one of my top two finalists for which one I wanted, regardless. I am very happy to have it; it is such a neat piece, and I am amazed that when you consider how much it would cost to ship this much glass from the Andes, they can offer it at this price.
