Relaxing for a moment, a man rests with the water jars he carries over his shoulders. Floral tendrils surround the man with lavish arabesques in a sculpture by Putra Suteja. Keeping her late husband's artisan heritage alive, Eka removes the husk from a coconut shell and polishes the piece to a sheen before carving the images. Beautiful and original, it stands on an albesia wood base.

Thai artisan Sasithon Saisuk take that sentiment one step further by crafting her unique handbags from materials found in nature. Featuring coconut shell discs in brown and ivory, this handbag is fully lined in brown cotton and closes with a zipper. The artisan adds a brown cord tassel with rain tree wood beads for a jaunty accent. An open pocket in the interior keeps small items organized.
