Ive placed this item on various tables and shelves in the house. It can go anywhere and I have a lot of decor and switch things around from time to time. I think its finally found its home, along with some other objets dart, atop curio cabinet filled with ocean related items, large shells, etc. It does not need to be with other art of the same style. I have not yet used it as a teapot, I keep forgetting.

Its a beautiful work of art besides being useful. I did wish that the angle was a little wider, but thats personal to me. It doesnt take away from the quality of this piece.
