I bought this because it reminded me of my grandmother's ring she always wore which was rubies. This looks like rubies to me. It is more pink than red.

Favorite ring

Gorgeous ring and beautifully crafted with much attention to detail. The card with it had the names of those who worked on it-very special and the cloth box it came with was also lovely.
