A young prince is proud and handsome as he rides his prancing white steed through the quiet forest. A companion carries a parasol to shade the young ruler, and both dress in the style of Northern Thailand in the late 19th century. Pathawee finds inspiration in the Phra Sing Temple murals in Chiang Mai. Its painters were Thai Lue people who migrated from southern China, bringing their artistic style with them.
