Sterling Silver and Red Gourd Owl Figurine from Peru, "Sipan Governor in Red"
Inspired by the Lord of Sipán, a governor of the ancient Moche people, Maria Astuhuaman creates this charming figurine. Crafted from a red gourd, a delightful owl makes a charming addition to your home decor. The bird's striking headdress and other accents are made from embossed sterling silver.
The size, shape and color of each natural gourd makes them unique. No two are ever identical so slight variations are to be expected.

"I love these little guys!"
I now have 2 different gourd figurines from this artist and they are beautiful! Small enough to put anywhere but large enough to see details. I love them and they are so unique!

"I so love this little bird!"
This piece is just beautiful - the color and detail is better than the photo shows, and the silver accents are amazing. And he has quite an attitude. So happy I bought him - thank you so much for your work.

"This one is a gift for me!"
This little owl has now joined my original one, the flute player, and they make a great duo on one of my bookcases (though they d look good anywhere). So very happy to have these!

"I absolutely love these little owls!"
