From Nicaragua, three decorative baskets are handwoven from locally-gathered pine needles, with wavy rims and accents of vibrant blue cotton. Tamara Pereira crafts the set, working with her brother to create beautiful designs.

"Love the color and shape!"
Although these baskets were smaller than I expected, I still like them and think they are beautiful! They do sit slightly wonky (not flat) but I still like them!

"Beautiful colors"
Although these baskets are smaller than I expected, they are beautiful colors and shapes and I like them despite being a little wonky and out of shape when they arrived! (They don t quite sit flat, but maybe they will in time? ????? I don t know, but I still like them! ?? LOL!

"Horsehair?"
This was another gift for Christmas for my friend. She was interested in what it was made of, horse hair. To me there was only two left and had to jump on it. And no iits not horsehair, but pine needles. Interesting that when it arrived in Miami they were holding it in custom for a few hours to see if it could safely enter.
