The simple design of our zip-front sweater hides a 500-year history of wool textiles in Scotland. The unique material--felted lamb's-wool that's softer and cozier than synthetic fleece, but with all the advantages of natural wool--is made by Lochaven in the heart of Scotland's traditional textile district of Stewarton. Our grey-trimmed, felted lamb's-wool sweater is soft and naturally water-resistant, both wind-resistant and breathable. By training young apprentices in knitting, felting, and sewing techniques, they help keep time-honoured textile traditions alive and constantly bring new ideas into the industry. They've even become a respected costume creator for Hollywood films, including all of the Hogwarts school uniforms for the Harry Potter movies.

"Very comfortable and warm"
My favorite part of this sweater is the nature of the fabric. It is made in a way that feels like it is part of you and not obstructing you. It moves and stretches with your body in a way that you dont feel it on most of the time. It is low profile and not bulky making it a good base layer option if needed. The XL fit was perfect for me (I am 61, 200 lbs). The garment is cut well and allows for movement of the arms and bending at the elbows. If I bend my elbow, the cuff does not slide up at all. If I raise my arms completely over my head, the sweater barely raises off my waist. This is one of my favorite garments that I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I really wish these were cheaper so that I could buy a few more (one for the office, one for home, one for travel etc). Right now, I am using mine at the office and it would would fine in any office setting (casual with jeans, business casual, and wearing a tie). If you are on the fence, just buy it.

"Beautiful Sweater But Runs Small"
Beautiful sweater, well made and warm. But runs small. I ordered XXL and it was too small for me to wear.

"Absolutely Stunning!"
100% beautiful quality, well designed and warm. Now THIS is what genuine fleece is all about. I purchased this for my boyfriend for Christmas which is 20 days away. I can hardly wait to see his expression when he opens this gift and puts it on! His favorite color is blue so I got the navy and am so glad I did! "Size might be a problem"
I wish they made this in Small. I tried Medium and it seems to be designed for a short, fat person. WAY too wide for both my son and husband.

"Winter staple"
This is now my winter staple and I wear it in the house all the time, very comfortable. If you are like most men and not good with laundry order size up as if you forget to hang dry it will shrink.
