Delivery EstimateLeading the forces of heaven, Saint Michael the archangel vanquishes the devil in this dramatic work by Alberto Torres. The angel raises a sword over Satan and places a foot on the fallen one in a sign of victory. Painted in the style of the Cuzco School, the lovely work recaptures colonial religious paintings in glowing oils. Torres carves the elabourate frame from cedar wood and covers it with bronze leaf. Titled "Arcangel San Miguel" in Spanish.

"Child of the Thorn oil painting"
Exquisite detail in this tiny oil paining. Exceeded my expectations framed in a lovely hand carved gilt frame. Cherished piece of religious art now hanging in my home. Hope to see more from this artist.
