Featuring a red color with metallic-colored accents and hand-painted multicolored floral motifs, this ceramic bull figurine represents a fusion between Spanish and Peruvian styles. Maribel Posso Olivares is proud to present her own designs in this sculpture, inspired by the myth of the torito de Pucará, which tells the story of a sacrificial bull that brought water to the townspeople by piercing the side of a mountain with its horn.

“So adorable!!”

I fell in love with the traditional Pucara bulls during a visit earlier this year to Peru. While I purchased a large red & blue bull pair to display in my living room, I wanted a smaller one for my home office. Red is my favorite color so this one was absolutely perfect. The painting is beautifully executed & its very well made. Its the perfect size to sit on my bookshelf. Just seeing it reminds me of the beautiful Andes & a very memorable vacation. I highly recommend this item if youre looking to pick up some traditional Peruvian art into your home or office.
