Day of the Dead is a traditional celebration in Mexico and one of its popular themes is skulls like the one that crowns the lid of this unique hand-crafted and hand-painted jewellery box. The Orozco family of artisans in Mexico makes the jewellery box entirely from recycled cardboard with a papier mache technique and decorates it with dot and floral motifs in vibrant colours.
