The term Kente refers to a Ghanaian textile made of handwoven cotton cloth strips in vibrant colors which is native to the Akan tribe. This original work by West Africa's Budu Larbi Ernest uses acrylic paint to depict a woman in profile and further embellishes the painting with Kente cloth earrings.
