"Using kitchen utensils made from organic materials like wood is safe as they do not give off any kind of flavor or colour; they will also avoid scratching your dishes, pans and pots," says Guatemalan artisan Pablo Chumil of this practical spatula designed for stirring liquids, sauces or creams to prevent them from sticking while cooking. The spatula is hand-crafted from hormigo wood and features a varnish-free finish that will shine brightest when seasoned with cooking oil after use.

"Attractive and functional"
The long handles and slightly pointed shape of these spatulas make them ideal for stirring stews and soups while getting into the corners of a deep pot. Its nice that one of the spatulas is slotted, in case one needs to drain chunk of meat pulled from the pot.
