Handcrafted Multi-Color Trumpeting Wood Angel Sculpture, "Heralding Angel"

Guatemalan artisans Juan and Carolina hand carve and paint this pinewood sculpture inspired by the Archangel Gabriel. The angel blows an orange trumpet, flying with blue wings. The rosy-cheeked angel wears black festively adorned in pink, yellow, and blue flowers and dots. The base of the supporting stand is painted in matching colors and motifs. The five parts of the sculpture -- the angel body, two wings, trumpet, and base -- are disassembled for easy shipping and can be easily reassembled upon arrival.

"Wonderful New Saint"
I already have a favorite carver among Novica s group of artisans. Or so I thought. I decided to try Juan and Carolina s work and am pleased to say I am delighted by their piece. I have a wonderful new Saint Francis to add to my collection. The carving is well proportioned. The color palette is very nice. (The “antiquing” is not needed.) They have a good eye for detail. I like the way they handled adding the birds to the piece. I will watch for other pieces carved by them and will most likely buy a another one that catches me eye. Thank you for including this talented couple with your artisans.

"She is amazing!"
The expression on this angels face is so touching. When you look at her you can see not only comfort and love, but also sadness. I have no idea how the artisans pulled that out of a wooden sculpture, but they did. She is truly beautiful.
