Inspired by the legendary figures from traditional wayang kulit puppet shows, Javanese artisan Ariska creates this statuette of the legendary warrior Werkudara. Also known as Bima, Werkudara is known for having a long nail that he also uses as a weapon. Ariska diligently crafts this figure from ceramic, wearing a skirt and an elaborate headdress. Hand-painted designs accentuate this statuette.
