Glass Beaded Sea Turtle Ornaments from Guatemala (Pair), "Colorful Sea Turtles"
Say members of the Santiago Atitlan Women's Group, "We love nature, its colors, its textures, and the creatures that live in it," and they show this love through a pair of ornaments. In hues of green, yellow and green, two delightful sea turtles are crafted of petite glass beads that are carefully applied by hand. The Guatemalan artisans detail each turtle with intricate designs for a fascinating addition to the tree.

"Amazing bead work! One to keep - one to give away"
I bought this set to share with a friend who also likes sea turtles. I let my husband choose which one we would keep (as both are wonderful). I know my friend will love hers.

I gave this as a Christmas gift to a family number. Last year I gave her one of the beautiful Christmas ornaments made by this talented group of artisans. This year, I wanted to give her a piece of jewelry made by the same group. She said the bracelet was really lovely and she wears it frequently. I would love to see more jewelry items made by this talented group of artisans. what about necklaces and earrings? Thank you for sharing your talents with me and my dear family member.
