By Rita Addo Zakour, this noble mask depicts a long, slender visage who opens his mouth to sing. This original mask is carved and painted by hand and is adorned with intricately embossed aluminum plating. It is named Ogyam, an Akan word which means "friend."

I purchased three amazing masks for an art wall and this is one of the amzing masks that I chose. I was so impressed when I received it - true to the on-line pictures and perfect for what I had envisioned!!! Thank you Novica and the wonderful artists who helped create this work of art!
