"Just a bit disappointed, but beautiful overall"
This is a very nice necklace. I love the idea of lariat necklaces and their versatility for styling. However, this necklace (each dangle or teardrop) keeps twisting around, and I cannot get them to hang the right way, that is, facing out. The necklace and tears are substantial, all in sterling, and the amethysts are deep purple & rich in color just as good amethysts should be. I am grateful that the back of each tear is beautifully covered in silver so that if they do not face up, they still look very pretty. Its a keeper despite this issue.
