Gohar Petrosyan creates a stunning ceramic figurine collection that pays homage to Armenian traditional attire, known as taraz, from different regions of his homeland. Exquisitely painted by hand in incredible detail with a colour palette of red, brown, green, white, grey and black hues, this splendid figurine is a tribute to the vibrant floral and geometric motifs found in the traditional garments from Vaspurakan, Bayazet, Upper Hayk and Cilicia, which are considered as the quintessential Western Armenian national costumes.
