About this Item

The lagoon Lerna was the sacred home of a giant crab, one of goddess Hera's servants, who sent the creature to fight Heracles in the myth of the twelve labours. Defeated by the demi-god, Hera honoured the crab's courage by transforming it into the constellation Cancer. This zodiac sign inspires Eka's newest relief panel, made from suar wood by local Balinese artisans, paying homage to the constellation of the sensitive, self-protective and nurturing.

Wood Mask In Three Directions”

I really liked this mask, but when I received it, there was a dark spot by the nose that distracted from the design. I may try to order again in the future.
