Mexican artisan Armando Sobreyra handcrafts a ceramic serving dish in the Talavera style. With a cream background, the server is rimmed in a decorative border of cobalt blue. The center features an elaborate skull in blue in the style of the Day of the Dead. "Beautiful"
This tray is really beautiful. I am very happy with it, but I would caution buyers that the finish is not smooth and glossy, as I thought it would be. It?s more of a porous, Terra cotta feel. I say this because, in spite of its description as suitable for food, microwave safe and dishwasher safe, I can?t imagine doing any of those things. I suspect my daughter will use it more for a catch all tray on her bureau. It?s truly lovely.

"Not finished, no glaze"
This appears to be air dry clay. It is not food safe! Its porous. If you want a tray for hair ribbons or the like it should work out well. I was hoping to use it as serving dish for olives, cheeses, etc. its not glazed. The art work is as shown however its not described as non functional art work. If it had hanging loops as part of the design it would be a great piece to hang.

"Excellent shipping and packaging"
Very pretty dish. Nice details and substantial weight. It?s a little deeper than I thought it would be, but I like it. It arrived quickly and was very well packaged - no chips or cracks.

"Perfect for My Expanding Cactus Collection"
This is a nicely sized, colorful pot perfect for holding one of my cactus plants. The colors are perfect for my home. I love the little bull skull under the cactus on the vase. The design is on both sides and there is a nice sized drainage hole on the bottom. Its well made and looks even better in person.
