Meaning "maiden," this "Rana ta sa" mask captivates with Hausa artistry. Abdul Aziz Mohamadu designs this original wall mask and carves it by hand from sese wood. He uses recycled glass beads to decorate the cheeks, nose and eyebrow in green, white, light and dark blue, black, orange, and red. The forehead is decorated with embossed aluminum, and the bust with brass.
