Long and slender, this African mask is crowned by a colorful face. Daniel Quarcoo transforms sese wood into a design of his own, adding brass and copper inlay, aluminum repousse and colorful seed beads. He names this mask Banku Ta, which denotes the long stirring stick Ghanaian cooks use while preparing the cornmeal stew known as "banku."

"A nice addition to my collection"
Meticulously crafted. This is a beautiful piece of art for my collection and is also the right size and design for my Christmas cultural decor. However it is smaller than expected because the stand is included in the stated measurement.

"Beautiful piece"
It really is made with love and care and that is evident. The super tiny dots painted on the face have been carefully placed and meticulously plotted out. I give full credit to this artist and the patience put into putting out this beautiful piece of work!
